Five user research methods you have probably never seen

Short Session, presented by Patrick Kennedy.

We all know we should do some user research to help us create better products, but the typical techniques are a bit boring aren’t they?

With that in mind, this session will introduce five fresh ways of getting to know your users and getting valuable insights from them.

  • cultural probes (online and offline)
  • shop-a-long
  • real-time screencam (ala "Clicktale")
  • Product Reaction Cards
  • on-site recruitment (ala "Ethnio")

There will be no sales pitch nor blow by blow description of how we’ve used them; instead this will be a short and snappy overview to whet your appetite!
