Let’s talk about forms
Short Session, presented by Jessica Enders.
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, nothing would get done without forms. Come and learn the secrets behind the ones that work.
Forms are everywhere — they permeate both our online and offline worlds. Like websites, they're also deceptively difficult to design well.
In this talk, I'm going to introduce two models that make this design challenge easier. The first model describes the characteristics of a well-designed form, affectionately known as “The 4 Cs”. The second model is a way to get a grip on the complexity of the form by dissecting it into 4 layers.
This will be an interactive, accessible and practical primer for designing forms, with loads of real-world examples.
