What will it cost?
Registrations are now open. The Early Bird rate is $500 AUD, or $450 AUD if you have a discount code, and this will last until 7th 11th September. After that, the Standard Rate applies which is $550 AUD (or $500 AUD with discount code).
Can I register now but pay later?
Yes. Register now to secure the Early Bird rate, and you can pay later, so long as you pay sometime before the event. We’ll send you a reminder.
I can only attend on one day, will there be day passes?
If you really want to come, but already have other plans for one of the days, I’m sure we can do a special deal. Send us an email to make arrangements.
Is there on-site parking?
Yes. Access via Little Regent Street and subject to availability, at $26 flat fee per day.
Are there accommodation deals for out of towners?
Yes. Mention that you’ll be attending Oz-IA when you make your booking at the Mercure. If you’re also attending Web Directions, they have accommodation deals lined up too.
What are the start and end times?
Tentative plans are for registrations to open at 8:00am, opening comments and welcome at 8:45am, first session starts at 9:00am, and last session of the day would end at 5:30pm. On Saturday night we also have the IA-Beers social event (sponsored by Happener), and on Sunday night we can retire to the bar for some unwinding drinks (sponsored by FatDux).
Will there be pod casts? Will the presentations/papers be made available?
Yes. Shifted Pixels will be recording audio for podcasts. We’ve worked out the kinks from last year and we’ve got a backup plan too, and what with editing and such the podcasts will come available from about a fortnight after.

    i’ll like to register but can only make the Saturday.

    What is the special deal for one day?

    Do I ring up to book, or will you be adding this option to the registration page?
